Trailers & Towables

Note: Our bike shop sold Burley Trailers from the very beginning of that product line many years ago. We have seen the trailers used, abused and passed down through multiple families.  We have also heard the stories of crashes where the Burley trailer protected its precious cargo. These are the best and safest trailer we can recommend for hauling cargo, kids or pets. If you crash your bike with a child onboard there is always a chance that they may hit their head and that is why there is extensive helmet regulation for kids in many states. Combining a quality kid's helmet and the trailer's protective structure around the child and you have a much safer package than a child's seat can provide. If the riders and bike were to experience a crash or accidentally fall over while being loaded, the trailer passengers are safe inside.  There are some lifetime wonderful bike riding memories to be made by riding with your young kids and a trailer is the safest way to do that.  Kids can bring along a drink, their favorite toys or stuffed animals and you don't have to go looking where they fell out of a child's seat because everything stays inside the trailer. 

Lectric's own trailer offering for pets is the Wag-Along Pet Trailer. It is very affordable and designed to work on their bikes. Note: The Trike requires a special tow bar and hitch to attach to the Trike's frame.
