Pedals

The stock folding pedals that come on many Lectric models are very compact and may not be supportive for certain types and sizes of shoes. Occasionally, riders will mention their OEM pedals have folded up while they were riding or that the bearings in the pedals have frozen requiring disassembly and relubrication.  We use quick release (QR) pedals on Sue's bike. With these removed it makes the crank arm area much cleaner and flatter than the folded type of pedals.  Removable pedals can also be taken off the bike for security purposes and once removed it makes it harder for the bike to be ridden away.
