Secondary 52V Batteries

Note: Using a 52V battery on a 48V system (like is used by Lectric and many other manufacturers) may work or may cause damage to the controller, dash console, or motor.  You can't use a 52V battery with a 48V battery in parallel. It may be possible to use batteries of dissimilar voltages by using a battery balancer.  Also, manufacturers of a 48V ebike may not honor warranty claims from a failed part that has been burned out from using 52V. 

Use at your own risk. Note: Lectric has recently disabled the XP4 controller from using 52V batteries and may do that on other future models to prevent damage.
